Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-23 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for Vitalia N Olmsted located at 29801 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The server will communicate any concerns to supervisors and the Wellness team. The position requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day, and the capacity to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the server must be able to assist residents with mobility and be criminally cleared.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
