About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be able to communicate effectively in English, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. Arrow Senior Living is committed to promoting from within and values its team members.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and foster a welcoming environment.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding dietary habits, appetite changes, and resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
