About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap House. The role focuses on providing hospitable guest service, taking and accurately processing food orders, ensuring food is properly prepared and presented, maintaining a clean and properly set station, complying with liquor regulations, and processing guest checks and payments. Servers may also assist with bussing tables and perform other assigned duties. The position requires flexible availability and the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and that the buffet is appealing when applicable.
• Check the station before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including rules for serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Become familiar with menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
