About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap House. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture, prioritizing guests’ and team members’ needs and providing an inclusive, employee-focused workplace with opportunities for development and career growth. The Server takes and accurately enters guest food orders, monitors food distribution and presentation, maintains a clean and properly set station, follows liquor regulations, and assists with table bussing. The position also involves totaling checks, presenting them to guests, and accepting payment. The Server must know menu items and their preparation and service procedures, communicate effectively, work as part of a team, multitask, and work flexible hours and shifts. The position requires at least a high school education and a minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role. Post-high-school education is preferred. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Requirements

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals are delivered to the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and ensure the buffet is appealing where applicable.
Check the service station before, during, and after the shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Learn and remain familiar with menu items and their preparation and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
