About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented team member for Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap House. The role is described in the posting as a Bartender and focuses on preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and properly stocked bar, ensuring guests are of legal drinking age, and delivering an engaging guest experience. Requirements

Minimum high school education.
Minimum of three years in a bartending role.
Thorough knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Detail-oriented.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

Bartending certification preferred.
Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, and other supplies.
Keep the bar, glasses, and cutlery clean and sanitized.
Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
Present bar bills and take payment.
Engage guests and ensure they are satisfied.
Monitor guests for overconsumption of alcohol and take steps as necessary.
Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
Perform other duties as assigned.
