About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Wellington located at 1051 Kent St, Liberty, MO 64068. This role involves greeting residents, preparing dining areas, bussing tables, and observing resident dining habits. We are looking for an individual with a positive and energetic attitude who loves working with residents. The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure a safe and welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
