About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Wellington located at 1051 Kent St, Liberty, MO 64068. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, possess 8th-grade English proficiency, and be able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring criminal clearance.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite, and when residents are absent from meals.
