About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Carriage Court in Hilliard, OH. This part-time role focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for residents. The Server will greet residents, foster connections, prepare tables and meals, maintain cleanliness, and observe resident dining habits. The ideal candidate is at least sixteen years old, proficient in English, has a positive and energetic attitude, and is comfortable with physical demands and resident assistance.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
• Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
