About The Position

Prime Gastonia is hiring friendly, attentive, service-minded Servers to create welcoming dining experiences for residents and guests at its independent living community. The role involves providing prompt, professional hospitality, supporting residents with dining selections, and maintaining an inviting, clean dining environment. Servers work closely with culinary and dining team members and assist with assigned opening, closing, stocking, and side work. The listed schedule is 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, with full-time and part-time schedules available.

Requirements

A genuine passion for serving seniors and creating meaningful experiences.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Availability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Previous restaurant, hospitality, or serving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome residents and guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
Present menus, explain daily specials, and assist with dining selections.
Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the POS system.
Serve meals and beverages promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Anticipate resident needs and create a personalized dining experience.
Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain an inviting dining environment.
Maintain dining room cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
Process payments when applicable.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Work closely with culinary and dining team members to ensure seamless service.
Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and other assigned side work.
