About The Position

Servers are core team members of P.F. Chang's scratch kitchen restaurant, providing individualized, exceptional guest experiences. They create a welcoming hospitality experience by anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations. Servers guide guests through their dining experience, help them choose menu items and answer questions, take and place food and beverage orders, serve orders, and process payments. They also understand the restaurant’s seating layout, server sections, and food delivery procedures. Previous experience is not required; training is provided. The role is available as full-time or part-time hourly employment.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
Must meet the state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
Have a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or be willing to obtain one with the employer’s help.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Provide an outstanding hospitality experience by anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
Understand the restaurant menu, help guests choose menu items, and answer their questions.
Guide guests through the dining experience by taking and placing food and beverage orders, serving orders, and processing payments.
Understand the seating layout, server sections, and procedures for delivering food throughout the restaurant.
