About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Server to join our team at Madison located at 14001 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64145. We are looking for someone who can be a "Host with the Most" by greeting residents and fostering a welcoming environment, a "Peppy Prepper" by preparing tables and salads, a "Titan of Tidiness" by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness, and an "Appetite Anthropologist" by communicating observations about residents' dietary habits and appetite changes to supervisors and Wellness. This role is crucial in ensuring a successful and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Must be able to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
