Requirements
- Genuine joy in serving people and making their day a little brighter.
- A personal, friendly, and professional way with guests — every single time.
- Eagerness to learn our products, ingredients, and tasting notes inside and out.
- Ability to stay warm, accurate, and calm when it’s busy and the line is out the door.
- Dependable, on time, and ready for early-morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting/moving product and supplies.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to get certified).
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest like you’re glad they came — warm, genuine, and present from hello to goodbye.
- Master our doughnuts, coffee, ingredients, and tasting notes so you can speak to every item with confidence.
- Ask good questions, make thoughtful suggestions, and help guests discover something they’ll love.
- Remember regulars, their names, and their favorites — make every guest feel welcomed, remembered, and important.
- Take orders accurately, handle the counter and register, and deliver fast, friendly, professional service through every rush.
- Box, plate, and present product to Sidecar’s standards so it looks as good as it tastes.
- Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and food-safe, following all health and sanitation standards.
- Communicate clearly, support the line during the rush, and help the next shift start strong.
