About The Position

The Restaurant Server safely and efficiently provides excellent customer service, helping guests enjoy their dining experience and encouraging their loyalty. Servers are expected to engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide assistance before they have to ask. The role works with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service and communicates guest requests and feedback to support timely service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Provide high-level customer service and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Follow instructions, learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be of legal age if serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus, specials, and promotions in a friendly, professional manner.
• Help guests select menu items, make recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system, clearly communicating special requests and modifications to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and temperature.
• Maintain a neat dining environment by monitoring tableware, glassware, and utensils for cleanliness and replenishing or replacing them as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal and provide proactive assistance and refills.
• Coordinate service timing with kitchen and bar staff so orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
• Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies to the kitchen to ensure meals meet guest requirements.
• Relay guest feedback, comments, and concerns to management for prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and securely, handle cash and credit card transactions, and present bills and receipts promptly.
