About The Position
OTO Development is seeking a Server to provide courteous, knowledgeable food and beverage service to guests. The role involves taking and communicating orders, delivering food and beverages, processing payments, and assisting other servers. The position requires working nights and weekends and involves extended periods of standing and other physical activity.
Requirements
- Be professional, motivated, and driven.
- Enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be familiar with taking guest orders, serving food, cleanup and routine side work, special-event setup and service, and assisting with food preparation.
- Be able to work nights and weekends.
- Be able to stand for long periods and lift and maneuver heavy trays.
- Be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol service protocols.
- Maintain a friendly, relaxing, and courteous demeanor to help guests feel comfortable and ensure satisfaction.
- Record guests’ choices and communicate orders to the bar and kitchen; provide knowledgeable recommendations as needed.
- Keep kitchen staff informed about timing, updates, and changes to guest orders.
- Pick up and deliver food and beverage orders, accompaniments, and condiments to guests.
- Issue bills and collect payment, including room charges, credit cards, and cash, returning correct change.
- Assist other servers as needed.
