About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a part-time Server to join its dining team. The role involves fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The Server serves meals that are presentable and appetizing, responds to residents’ meal-selection needs, and helps prepare the dining room and meal service areas.

Requirements

• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Respond to requests from residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
