About The Position

The Server serves residents and guests in the dining room in a professional manner and follows established procedures. The position assists with drink and food preparation, cleanup, dishwashing, and setting up and taking down dining areas. It also prepares and serves snacks and replenishes stock in common-area refreshment centers. The Server follows safety and sanitation procedures to meet standards and comply with governmental regulations, and adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve or more years of education; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
• Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
• Perform assigned cleanup and dishwashing duties.
• Set up and take down dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in common-area refreshment centers.
• Maintain safety and sanitation procedures to meet standards and comply with governmental regulations.
• Follow the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
