About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server for The Westbury Senior Living in Columbia, Missouri. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents. The server will be responsible for greeting residents, preparing tables and dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, a love for working with seniors, and the physical ability to perform the job duties. Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
