About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for its DoubleTree by Hilton property. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture by providing attentive guest service, accurately taking and delivering orders, and maintaining a clean, properly set-up service station. The Server must be familiar with menu items and service procedures, follow applicable liquor regulations, handle guest checks and payments, and assist with bussing tables. Flexible hours and shifts are required.

Requirements

• At least a high school education.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic math skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
• Check the service station before, during, and after shifts for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
• Learn menu items, preparation, and service procedures.
• Total guest checks, present them, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
