About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server for its DoubleTree by Hilton property. The role focuses on providing attentive guest service, taking accurate food orders, coordinating food delivery and presentation, maintaining a clean and properly prepared station, and handling guest checks and payments. The Server must know menu items and service procedures, follow applicable liquor regulations, assist with bussing tables, and perform other duties as assigned. The position requires at least one year of hotel or restaurant serving experience. Flexible hours and shifts are required.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Team-player approach.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic math skills needed to make change and give refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
• Check the station before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
• Know menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
