About The Position
Servers are core team members of P.F. Chang's scratch-kitchen restaurant, providing dine-in food and beverage service. Team members demonstrate customer service expertise by delivering an individualized, exceptional guest experience. The role may be full-time or part-time and is paid hourly, plus tips. Previous experience is not required; training is provided.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
- Ability to follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
- Meet the state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Have a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or obtain one with the company’s help.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming hospitality experience by anticipating, meeting, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
- Understand the restaurant menu, help guests choose menu items, and answer their questions.
- Guide guests through their dining experience by taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders and processing payments.
- Understand the restaurant seating layout and server sections, and deliver food throughout the restaurant.
