About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Server for Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House. The Server helps residents and guests enjoy a welcoming dining experience, supporting dining service as well as bar and coffee shop operations. The role may also assist with meal preparation, stocking, and special events. The posting describes the position as part-time, with a listed schedule of 4:30–7 p.m.

Requirements

• A caring disposition and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Food server or hospitality experience.
• Willingness to work with older adults in a senior living environment and prepare food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and pre-planned special events.
• ServSafe certification if applicable under state requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Bar Card, if preferred or applicable under state requirements.
• Knowledge of a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in the bar and coffee shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus and demonstrate knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with team members to provide food and prompt service.
• Set and reset tables according to company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation when requested.
• Help maintain stock levels in the bar, coffee shop, and front of house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested.
