About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Servers provide food, drinks, and entertainment to Guests through exceptional, timely service. Servers are expected to know the menu, make helpful suggestions, and uphold high standards for safety and sanitation. The role involves engaging with Guests, recommending menu items, accurately taking and delivering orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, stocked, and safe work area. Servers work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and help create memorable Guest experiences.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Alcohol certification, as required.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be ready to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guests’ needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite Guests to return.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe work area and server section, and complete necessary side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
