About The Position

Jinya Ramen Bar is hiring a part-time Server at its location in The Exchange at Gwinnett retail complex on Buford Drive in Buford. The posting also states that full-time or part-time work may be available based on current needs. The Server prepares the dining area for service, assists guests from arrival through departure, accurately enters and follows up on orders, and carries out opening and closing duties. The role also includes maintaining table service, communicating guest feedback to management, and clearing tables after meals.

Responsibilities

Perform opening duties, including setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins, and replenishing condiments.
Attend pre-shift and general meetings to learn about special offers and stock-related issues and discuss service and product matters.
Assist management and hosts with meeting, greeting, and seating guests, and provide food and wine menus.
Introduce yourself to guests and inform them of special offers and stock shortages before they select menu items.
Serve beverages promptly and replenish them continuously.
Enter orders accurately into the point of sale (POS) system.
Follow up on food and beverage orders with the back of the house (BOH).
Check with guests to assess their satisfaction with their meal and overall experience, and provide feedback to management.
Provide guests with their check upon request, and greet and thank them as they leave after closing out the bill.
Perform closing duties as outlined by front of house leads, and prepare linens for collection by the laundry service.
Clear dishware and napkins from tables after meals and return them to the kitchen.
