About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Part-Time Server to join our dining team in a senior living community. The Server plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring meals are served accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with seniors.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
Must comply with all community policies and applicable health regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous serving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests warmly and provide attentive dining service.
Take meal orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
Assist residents with menu selections and accommodate dietary needs as directed.
Set up and clear dining tables before, during, and after meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and work areas.
Refill beverages, deliver additional items, and respond promptly to resident requests.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and fellow team members.
Assist with special events, holiday meals, and community functions as needed.
Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
