About The Position

We are looking for a Server to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. This role involves being a "Host with the Most" by greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, and engaging with residents. You will also be a "Peppy Prepper" by preparing tables and assisting with meal service, and a "Titan of Tidiness" by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness. This is a part-time position with a shift schedule of Friday/Saturday from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
