Server $15-$21.50/hr 9a-12:30p (Part Time)
About The Position
We are looking for a Server to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, and possess good communication skills in English. This position requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
