Server $15-$17/hr 9a-5p (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community at Montrose. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $15-$17 per hour and a shift schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing tables and meals, and maintaining dining room cleanliness. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist residents with their needs. This role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and a passion for serving seniors is essential.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Understand that a successful meal service requires preparation.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
