About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server for Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Olmsted. This role involves being a welcoming host to residents, preparing tables and meals, and maintaining dining room tidiness. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, and possess good English communication skills. This position requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The server will also assist residents with mobility and ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
