About The Position

The Server welcomes guests and provides attentive service throughout their visit. The role takes and accurately relays orders, promptly delivers food and beverages, and uses upselling and menu recommendations to help guests choose specials, combos, and other items. Servers also invite guests to join the Denny’s Rewards Program and explain its benefits, maintain an organized dining room, process payments, and collaborate with front- and back-of-house team members to support smooth service.

Requirements

Experience as a server, waiter, waitress, front-of-house staff member, or in customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in upselling, making menu recommendations, and engaging with guests.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
