About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Wellington. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $15 - $21.50 per hour. The Server role involves greeting residents, preparing tables and dining areas, bussing tables, and communicating with supervisors and Wellness regarding resident dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years of age, able to communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
