About The Position

The Server works in the Casino Bar, taking cocktail orders from guests in an assigned station and providing exceptional customer service in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner. The position requires following state and local liquor laws and company procedures involving gaming regulations. The server must assist patrons with questions and direct them to safety areas during emergencies as instructed by management, Security, or senior crew members. The role also requires working in a noisy and/or dimly lit environment and meeting the listed physical and mental demands. The job pays $9 per hour plus tips and requires employees to be at least 21 years of age.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board; Illinois Gaming Level 2 license is listed.
Must be able to work accurately with basic math skills.
Must be able to write to complete daily reports.
Must understand and comply with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memoranda, and other written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to read and understand information to communicate with patrons and co-workers.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Must be able to work within the restricted area of the Soft Count room with reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to bend, stand, or stoop for long periods; communicate verbally and professionally; see and hear (hearing may be augmented with a hearing aid); tolerate noisy and/or dimly lit conditions; lift at least 20 pounds; use manual dexterity; repeatedly climb stairs; push and pull drop carts and drop boxes; and perform repetitive motions such as bending, pulling, and opening boxes.
Must have an outgoing personality and a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a cocktail server preferred.

Responsibilities
