About The Position

Server at C. Ellet’s Steakhouse. We are looking for talented and experienced Servers to join our team of hospitality professionals. C. Ellet’s prides itself in being the premier dining experience of The Battery, offering top tier steaks, incredible seafood, and delicious craft cocktails. C. Ellet’s pays homage to the great American steakhouses and Chef Hopkins’ time spent cooking in New Orleans. From fast-paced game days to relaxed private dining experiences, C. Ellet’s is a convivial place for all to gather and celebrate. As a Server, you will be responsible for engaging with and taking care of our guests, guiding them through our menus and building trusted relationships. You will create a welcoming and memorable experience by providing guests menu and brand insight and actively engaging with guest needs and questions. You will be an active communicator between the front of house and back of house, keeping all informed of allergies, special requests, and service flow.

Requirements

  • Weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) availability required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a Cobb County Pouring License or plan to attain one before hire
  • 3+ year(s) of relevant server experience
  • Able to move and/or lift heavier product
  • Able to stand for long periods of time; occasionally kneel, bend, and crouch as required to reach items at varying height levels
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment calmly and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Guiding guests from the beginning to the end of their dining experience
  • Setting up the restaurant in preparation for and during service
  • Set up and maintain clean, organized service stations according to brand standards; restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • Delivering food and beverage to tables, pouring water, and clearing tables between courses
  • Work as a team player, helping your fellow team with guest interactions and duties to contribute to a positive working environment
  • Possess the ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and openly communicate with your manager and fellow service team about next steps
  • Consistent adherence to the uniform policy
  • Reports for duty on time and manages one’s shift, communicating with the management team when leaving their station for breaks or family meal
