About The Position

Hotel Jerome is hiring a full-time, year-round, non-exempt Server. The targeted compensation wage is $12.14 per hour plus tips. As part of the team, the Server helps create extraordinary dining experiences by serving guests, supporting the business, and contributing to a harmonious team environment. The role includes taking orders, anticipating guest needs, delivering food and beverages efficiently, checking on guest satisfaction, and maintaining heartfelt, high-quality service in accordance with Auberge Resorts Collection standards. Servers also make thoughtful suggestions to promote menu items, process orders and payments through the POS system, maintain restaurant equipment and fittings, and keep restaurant outlets tidy and organized while following safe food handling procedures.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
Good knowledge of food and wine.
Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol.
Superior professional appearance and manner and good character for working in a fast-paced team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
Ability to obtain applicable state and local certifications, such as a food handler certificate or alcohol training certifications.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the dining experience by taking orders, anticipating guest needs, and delivering items efficiently.
Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and meals and provide consistently heartfelt, high-quality service.
Comply with Auberge Resorts Collection standards and make thoughtful suggestions to upsell menu items.
Accurately and quickly take and place orders and enter them into the POS system.
Handle guest billing.
Operate, maintain, and clean restaurant equipment and fittings.
Keep restaurant outlets tidy and organized and follow safe food handling procedures.
