About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server to join our team at Pinnacle Groves located in Rogers, AR. This role is crucial in fostering a welcoming and connected environment for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, being present in the dining room, mingling, and entertaining to create an atmosphere where residents can connect. You will also be involved in preparing tables for service, making salads, and rolling silverware. Additionally, you will assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area. A key aspect of this role is observing and communicating with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
