The Server builds positive relationships with guests and colleagues, provides warm and efficient service, develops knowledge of menu offerings, and handles guest orders and payments accurately. The role also supports dining-room operations, follows safe alcohol-service practices, and complies with company safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and managers.
• Provide a warm, friendly approach and efficient service while prioritizing the customer experience.
• Develop thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Accurately ring up food and beverages according to customer orders.
• Assist with bussing tables in the assigned section, greeting guests, and delivering food to assigned tables as needed.
• Clean the assigned section and sanitize service-area workspaces according to restaurant protocols.
• Provide safe alcohol service by using company resources, checking identification, and identifying signs of intoxication.
• Manage guest checkout by responsibly handling cash and credit-card transactions.
• Occasionally answer the phone and assist walk-in guests with carryout orders as needed.
• Learn the Good Food Rewards program and manage it according to company policy.
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures in alignment with health department regulations.
• Communicate effectively with bar, kitchen, and management teams to provide quality customer service.
