Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and managers.
• Prioritize a quality customer experience by providing warm, friendly, and efficient service.
• Develop thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Accurately ring up food and beverages according to customer orders.
• Assist with bussing tables in the assigned section, greeting guests, and delivering food to assigned tables as needed.
• Clean the assigned section and sanitize service-area workspaces according to restaurant protocols.
• Provide safe alcohol service by using company resources, checking IDs, and identifying signs of intoxication.
• Manage guest checkout by responsibly handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Occasionally answer the phone and assist walk-in guests with carryout orders as needed.
• Learn about the Good Food Rewards program and administer it according to company policy.
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures and applicable health department regulations.
• Communicate effectively with bar, kitchen, and management teams to provide quality customer service.
