About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking a friendly, upbeat Host who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and helps deliver a quality customer experience. The Host welcomes guests, manages seating and wait times, communicates with the front-of-house team, and supports dining-room service and cleanliness. The role also assists with phone inquiries, carryout pickup, and serving staff as needed. Night and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive with a welcoming and positive attitude.
Manage seating software by entering accurate guest information and updating table status.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house team members and managers.
Estimate accurate guest wait times based on current table times, party size, the wait list, and other factors.
Use good judgment to make appropriate accommodations for guests based on need.
Bus, clean, and sanitize tables, chairs, and seats quickly to support efficient seating.
Handle phone calls and reservation inquiries as needed.
Direct and facilitate carryout pickup for guests as needed.
Assist serving staff when necessary by pre-bussing tables and delivering food and beverages to guests.
Build relationships with new and regular customers.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, restrooms, and other public areas.
Complete daily cleaning details as outlined by the management team.
