About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking a friendly, upbeat Host to help deliver a quality customer experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Host welcomes and assists guests, manages seating and wait-list information, and helps maintain a clean and inviting dining room. Night and weekend availability is required. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests with a welcoming and positive attitude.
Use seating software to enter accurate guest information and update table status.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house team members and managers.
Estimate accurate guest wait times based on table times, party size, the wait list, and other factors.
Use good judgment to make appropriate accommodations for guests based on their needs.
Bus, clean, and sanitize tables, chairs, and seats promptly to support efficient seating.
Handle phone calls and reservation inquiries as needed.
Direct and facilitate carryout pickup for guests as needed.
Assist serving staff when necessary by pre-bussing tables and delivering food and beverages.
Build relationships with new and regular customers.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, restrooms, and other public areas.
Complete daily cleaning details as outlined by the management team.
