About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking a friendly, upbeat server who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a quality customer experience. Servers build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and managers; provide warm, efficient service; learn the food and beverage menus; and handle guest orders, payments, and other service needs. The role also includes supporting the assigned section, following safety and sanitation procedures, and communicating with bar, kitchen, and management teams.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for customer service and a guest-first mentality.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be at least 19 years old to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and managers.
• Prioritize a quality customer experience with a warm, friendly approach and efficient service.
• Develop thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Accurately ring up food and beverages according to customer orders.
• Assist with bussing tables in the assigned section, greeting guests, and delivering food to assigned tables as needed.
• Clean the assigned section and sanitize service-area workspaces as needed, following restaurant protocols.
• Provide safe alcohol service by using company resources, checking IDs, and identifying signs of intoxication.
• Manage guest checkout by responsibly handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Occasionally answer the phone and assist walk-in guests with carryout orders as needed.
• Learn the Good Food Rewards program and manage it according to company policy.
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures in alignment with health department regulations.
• Communicate effectively with bar, kitchen, and management teams to provide quality customer service.
