About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Westlake. This part-time position involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
