About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing dining areas, assisting with meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy interacting with residents, and be able to perform the physical demands of the job.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
