About The Position

The Kensington Hotel is seeking friendly and reliable Restaurant Servers for Relish, its on-site restaurant serving corporate and leisure guests in a welcoming dining atmosphere. Servers provide courteous and timely food and beverage service, prepare beverages for other servers, and help maintain guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The position pays $15 per hour plus gratuity. Flexible scheduling is available, with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Prepare beverages for other servers to deliver to guests.
Maintain stock and cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously and promote and document drink orders.
Follow state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
Enter orders into the point-of-sale register and create a check for each guest.
Receive guest payments, make change, verify charge validity, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance funds.
Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment; deposit cash drops; and secure the bank.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
