About The Position
The Server works in the community’s fine-dining, in-house restaurant, serving residents and guests. Dining features made-to-order meals, seasonal and regional menus, daily specials, and a formal dining setting. The role includes preparing tables, presenting menus, taking and relaying orders, serving courses, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining clean and stocked dining areas. Training is provided. The listed hours range from 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and the posting notes that there are no late nights.
Requirements
- Maintain required food handler certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tables, present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions about food and service.
- Remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
- Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
- Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
- Maintain required food handler certifications.
