About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a part-time Server for B-Lux Grill and Bar. The Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests and participates as a team member while following the Kalahari Promise’s core values and service expectations. The role includes attentive, personalized service and accurate, prompt delivery of food and beverage orders, while working collaboratively to support an efficient and positive dining environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of front-of-the-house operations experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
• State or local law may require completion of an alcohol awareness or safety class and state-certified proper food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Greet guests, describe specials, provide menu tours, recommend items, and explain menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system for the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly, using appropriate service trays.
• Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts or hostesses, and management, as situations arise.
• Participate as a team member and follow the Kalahari Promise’s core values and service expectations.
