About The Position

The Server works at Vino Volo Wine Bar at Dulles International Airport, providing a welcoming and professional guest experience. The role includes greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, explaining menu items, and identifying opportunities for additional sales. Servers are expected to know the wines on the current list, including flavor profiles, talking points, and pricing guidelines; process point-of-sale transactions efficiently; and build guest loyalty through training materials and strong selling skills. The Server works with colleagues and management to provide guests with a positive experience, maintains a clean and organized work environment, responds to guest concerns, and supports other bar duties as needed, including seating customers, answering phones, stocking, cleanup, and documentation. The position requires maintaining current adult beverage certification and serving alcohol responsibly.

Requirements

Maintain current adult beverage certification.

Support other bar areas as requested, including seating customers, answering telephones, stock work, cleanup, and documentation.
Respond appropriately to guest concerns.
Maintain current adult beverage certification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
