About The Position
LCB Senior Living is hiring a part-time Server at The Residence at Summer Street in Stamford, Connecticut. The role provides customer service in a restaurant-style dining environment for residents and guests, supporting dining operations and resident satisfaction. The hourly wage range is $17.50–$20.50, based on years of experience. Servers work with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director, follow food-safety and quality standards, and help prepare and carry out dining enhancement programs, special events, banquets, and theme meals. The position requires effective communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while performing a range of physical tasks. LCB is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
- Ability to respond calmly to emergency situations.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.

- Ability to handle multiple jobs and priorities.
- Less than high school education.
- Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity.
- Ability to lift and carry objects; the description states a minimum of fifteen (25) lbs.
- Ability to push and pull carts and continuously walk, sit, and stand.
- Ability to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below the waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
- Ability to use good body mechanics.
- Ability to type and use a computer.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
- Work with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to support resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
- Set tables according to LCB standards.
- Serve beverages to residents and guests as requested.
- Review the daily menu with residents.
- Take and deliver accurate meal orders to residents and guests.
- Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, and linen from the dining room as needed.
- Assist with preparing and carrying out dining enhancement programs.
- Follow Quality Enhancement standards and standard food-safety practices.
- Assist with preparing and carrying out special events, banquets, and theme meals.
- When applicable, acquaint new residents with menus, seating, dining options, and hours.
- Clean and sanitize dining-room carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment.
- Communicate resident preferences and dislikes to the food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning and resident satisfaction.
- Promote teamwork and cooperation among staff.
- Attend the pre-meal stand-up for dining and kitchen staff.
