About The Position
The Server / Waitstaff role supports dining service at American House-East 2, an assisted living and senior care community. The dining team helps create a welcoming experience for residents by providing friendly, accurate service and maintaining a clean, inviting dining room. Days and afternoon shifts are required, with work every other weekend; shifts may vary by community and may include days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. No experience is required, and training is provided.
Requirements
- Friendly, positive attitude.
- Enjoyment in helping and interacting with older adults.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Availability for day and afternoon shifts and every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver resident dining orders accurately and courteously.
- Set, clear, and maintain tables to keep the dining room clean and inviting.
- Review menus with residents and help new residents understand dining options.
- Support daily meals, special events, and celebrations.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, equipment, and carpeted areas.
