About The Position

The Server/Captain at 980 Prime delivers personalized dining service in a fast-paced environment. The role includes greeting and seating guests, presenting menus and daily specials, taking accurate orders, coordinating with the kitchen, maintaining tables, and processing payments. The Server/Captain works with teammates during busy periods and follows safety, health, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act regulations. The position is part-time and requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including routine evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• One year of recent serving experience in a reputable establishment is preferred.
• Strong multitasking, friendly communication, and time-management skills.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Punctuality, consistent attendance, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including routine evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, share daily specials, and anticipate guests’ dining needs.
• Explain menu ingredients, check for food allergies, take accurate orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to deliver orders efficiently, simultaneously, and with appealing presentation.
• Check on guest satisfaction, replenish drinks, clear dishes, and promptly reset tables.
• Present bills and process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and support teammates during rushes.
• Follow safety, health, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act regulations.
