In the fall, we turn into Canada’s most terrifying haunted attraction- Screampark. In October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus is home to thousands of guests to celebrate KW Oktoberfest (North America's largest Bavarian festival). We are currently hiring part-time Bartender.

Requirements

  • Previous Bartending experience is required
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (Smart Serve Certification is required)
  • Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and have a strong initiative
  • Weekend and evening availability is required

Responsibilities

  • Preparing classic cocktails, mixed drinks, wines & spirits beverages
  • Ensuring consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
  • Ensuring all working areas are always maintained in a clean and hygienic condition; Maintaining bar area and glassware throughout the shift, prepare the opening and closing
  • Maintaining and controlling inventory of bar stock and supplies; Maintains kegs; Stocks shelves in the bar area
  • Managing the bar opening and closing duties
  • Complying with all food and beverage regulations
  • Maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant
