About The Position

OPHG is seeking an experienced, skilled, and service-oriented Server/Barista to help create exceptional guest experiences. The role involves serving customers in a designated section, taking dine-in and to-go orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining running side work, and resolving customer issues. The ideal candidate is passionate about service, attentive to detail, personable, and eager to contribute to a hard-working, efficient team focused on great food and customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server.
• Ability to memorize menu ingredients and daily or weekly specials.
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.
• Ability to effectively listen and respond to customer needs.
• Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from bar customers.
• Deliver beverages in a timely fashion.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the assigned section.
• Run food to the candidate’s tables and teammates’ tables as needed.
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner.
• Listen and respond to customer needs.
